We make challenges tangible

We regard life’s (un)predictability as an exciting challenge. Making products, portfolios and processes more predictable is what we are all about.

Azenes AG is a boutique actuarial consultancy specialising in non-life, accident and health insurance. We work for clients in direct insurance and reinsurance. We combine a deep knowledge of mathematics and high-precision methodology with actuarial expertise and creative thinking. Together with our clients, we develop practical, long-term solutions for current, future and legacy issues.

We see the big picture

We see the big picture

Our work is rooted in a clear, detailed understanding of each client’s individual situation, as well as their internal and external circumstances. We are aware of all the legal implications. We are fluent speakers – and interpreters – of the language of industry regulators. We know the market and its various players. We have a rock-solid grasp of numbers and legal texts, and we use them to develop carefully tailored insurance products and solutions.

We have an exceptional sense of detail

We have an exceptional sense of detail

We analyse risks and describe them in mathematical terms. We examine processes and establish correlations. We probe the details of your actuarial practice while keeping a steady eye on the big picture. We present our actuarial opinions and draw up expert reports. We are experts in scrutinising existing portfolios or problematic legacy issues as part of a holistic approach to corporate governance.

A holistic approach to consulting

A holistic approach to consulting

Building on decades of experience, our support for our clients extends over the entire lifecycle of their products and portfolios. If we reach the limits of our own expertise, we draw on the competencies of our well-established network. This is the basis for the exceptional reliability of our consulting services.

Decision-making bodies often invite us to contribute to workshops and training courses. And where our interests are mutual, our team members are happy to sit on your management or executive boards.

Our team

As crystal-clear thinkers with an eye for detail as well as the bigger picture, we investigate, state opinions, communicate openly and express ourselves clearly. Our working methods are based on clarity and trust.
